Monks Walk School is a large secondary school located in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire

The school has many different blocks and departments located around its large grounds.

Their requirement was to improve overall security on the site and prevent criminal damage and vandalism

Our recommendation was to install a colour digital CCTV system to cover all key areas around the school

A new colour CCTV system was installed by IFS with 32 high resolution colour digital cameras installed in key areas around the site.
All CCTV footage is recorded on 2 Visimetrics digital CCTV recorders, which are linked into the local IT network for remote viewing of live and recorded images.

The CCTV system has proved very effective in preventing vandalism and criminal damage to the school property.
More cameras are planned for the future to increase coverage even further.
