The URS Corporation is a world wide multisciplinary consultancy, their work is to improve the built and and natural environment from advising on renewable energy
solutions to clearing up contaminated land.

Their European head office is based in St Georges House in Wimbledon, London.

Their requirement was to improve security and surveillance on all office floors, and prevent unauthorised access via the lifts and all fire exits. Our recommendation was to install PC based access control system

All main entrance doors were protected with 24 hour door held open alarms.

A new Paxton PC based Net 2 access control system was installed, controlling 8 key doors on the site.

All doors are held locked by slim line magnetic locks, which will fail open in the event of the fire alarm activating.

Net 2 is a very user friendly access control software package, which can provide detailed reporting of all access on the site.
